Egg & Spoon offers fiscal sponsorship to individual artistic projects, companies, and ensembles whose work aligns with our charitable and theatrical mission.
Through fiscal sponsorship, projects can receive tax-deductible donations and eligible grant funding through Egg & Spoon’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit status—while remaining artistically and organizationally independent.
How It Works
Egg & Spoon establishes and administers funds designated for each sponsored project, including processing donations, tracking contributions, issuing tax acknowledgments, maintaining basic bookkeeping, and distributing approved funds.
We charge a 3% administrative fee on contributions received on behalf of sponsored projects. This fee is intentionally below industry standard, and helps support Egg & Spoon’s ongoing commitment to new play development. Standard payment-processing fees may also apply to online credit-card donations.
Fiscal sponsorship is available for one-time projects as well as ongoing artistic companies and ensembles.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. If you’re interested in working with Egg & Spoon, start by completing our fiscal sponsorship application. If accepted, you’ll complete a brief onboarding process and fiscal sponsorship agreement, then work with our team to establish your donation process and fund distribution schedule.
